About Walt Steuer Pumping Services
Walt Steuer Pumping Service LLC has been operating in Grand Traverse County since 1967. We are the oldest pumping service in the area. We have several qualified technicians ready to serve you at any time. We do septic cleaning along with holding tanks and grease traps. We do install or repair drain fields, broken pipes, and other various duties. We can usually get to your house within a couple of days, or if you are having an emergency we can always make it that day. We work hard to keep your business flowing in the right direction.

President/Owner Walt Steuer
Walt has extensive background in the septic and plumbing business. He has been running the pumping service for 50 years, and was also a local 85 plumber and pipe fitter for several years. Walt continues to advance his knowledge in the septic business by going to as many educational seminars and expo's as he can make. Walt is also a member of MSTA (Michigan Septic Tank Association), which has been critical in educating local Septage haulers, and interpreting new laws that our governor has passed in the last couple of years.

Technician: Greg Neer
Greg has been cleaning and servicing septic, holding, and grease traps for over 10 years. He started in Florida and worked his way north to our small town. Greg is very polite, and willing to answer any questions a homeowner may have. He doesn't just pump the tanks he works hard at cleaning the tanks and making sure they are in proper working order before he leaves a job.

Service Manager/Technician/Mechanic/Laborer: Tom Krueger
Tom Krueger has been with us for a year, but has been working on diesel engines for years. Tom also runs our excavating equipment and has repaired and installed drain fields for a local company before he came to us. Tom has all around knowledge of our business, and will work hard to make our customers happy.
